5 Simple Rules to Help you Beat Stress

  1. Answer emails on a set day and time. This usually allows you to deal with them quicker and more efficiently.
  2. Turn your phone off in times when you intend to relax or sleep.
  3. Have a little light to moderate exercise a few times per week as this will lower cortisol production over the long term.
  4. Get plenty of sleep every day.
  5. Eat a well-balanced diet. After exercise, ensure that you eat protein and carbohydrates to lower cortisol levels.
